Clean up your Mac, honestly.
MacVac finds the clutter that builds up on every Mac and shows you exactly what it has found before anything is removed. No subscription, no upsell, ever.

One click. Every module. No guesswork.
Smart Scan checks system junk, game leftovers, browser caches, large files and duplicates in a single pass, with a live running total of the space it can reclaim. Nothing is removed until you decide.
Safe Clean takes care of the low-risk categories automatically. The Uninstaller, Login Items and Memory Optimiser always remain separate, deliberate steps, because quitting an app or disabling a background process is not the same as clearing a cache.
Built to be checked, not just believed.
Removals go to the Trash by default, so a mistake is only ever one click from undone; permanent deletion is a separate opt-in setting that stays off unless you enable it. The Activity Log records every folder MacVac inspects and every file it touches, written to a plain-text file on disk that you can open and read for yourself.
There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no
URLSession call anywhere in the codebase. MacVac has
no way to phone home, because it was never built with one.
No placebo "Boost" button.
macOS offers no supported way for a regular app to force the system to free memory, and tools that claim otherwise rarely deliver. What genuinely works is quitting the apps that are holding on to memory, so that is exactly what MacVac does.
It shows live memory usage for every running app, drawn from the same data Activity Monitor uses: measured, not estimated.

Questions people actually ask
Is MacVac really free?
Yes. Every module is unlocked from the first launch — no trial, no subscription, no locked "pro" tier. It stays that way.
Is MacVac safe to use?

Does MacVac collect any data?
No. There's no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no network call anywhere in the codebase — MacVac has no way to phone home.
What can MacVac clean?
System junk, browser caches, game leftovers, duplicate files, large or old files, Mail attachments and more — see the full list of modules above.

Hello, I'm Keith
I built MacVac in my spare time, mostly out of frustration: the big-name Mac cleaners charge a hefty annual subscription for things your Mac ought to be able to do on its own.
So this one is free. There is no locked tier, no trial and nothing to upgrade to, and it will stay that way.
